You will be amazed on how relatable you really are.
IF YOUR BROKE, DON'T BUY IT!
It's also important to understand that article marketing can be done very well without spending anything but your time. So if you are on a limited budget (or no budget), know you don't have to buy anything to make this work.
THE STEPS
OK, now for the steps. If you are new to network marketing, these steps may sound confusing. I am here to help. Just ask. For those of you who are experienced in network marketing but are new to article marketing, these steps are a general overview of the basics. But, again, I am here to help. Just ask.
Step 1
START YOUR OWN BLOG.
I recommend using Wordpress.com and starting your own blog. This will be a centralized hub for driving people to your affiliated links. Article sites don't like when you link directly to a promotion or sales page. The articles you write will have links to your blog. This is where they will be directed to obtain the resources you suggested.
Step 2
WRITE ARTICLES
It's easy to say "just go write some articles", but maybe it's not your forte. Don't worry, write from your heart and worry about fine tuning your writing skills along the way. Just be sincere.
Step 3
POST ARTICLES
After you have an article written and you have spell checked and reread it, post it to article sites. I have a list of great sites on my blog. You can check out www.ezinearticles.com. It is a fairly popular site and would be a good start. If you are really serious about article marketing, I have a bunch of resources at my blog that allow you to make the process of submitting the articles alot faster. It can get pretty daunting when you are trying to post to several sites. And, the more sites you can post to the better your results. So I recommend you check these out.
Step 4
ADD THE LINKS
At the end of your article you will be putting a signature at the bottom. This is where you put your name, what you are an expert in, and your link to your blog. You can see mine below. Now make sure that you link directly to the page that they can click on the affiliate link. You do not want them to get to your blog and not understand what to do next. You want them to be able to click and buy or click and fill in a form. If they have to do any more then that, you may lose them.
RINSE AND REPEAT!
Do you see the circular pattern. Blog, Article, Post, Blog, Article, Post.... keeping them in that pattern is the key to your success. It's a simple rinse and repeat process. Through that you will accomplish two things. One, you will be showing others interested in your industry that you are willing to share your experience and help them succeed. You become a leader because you are directing people to success. You are offering solutions to problems freely, without any strings attached. No one likes to be sold to. Secondly you are creating cash flow from the products that you are using and thus know and trust. Make sure you have checked out or used the products you are asking others to buy. You have to know that these are quality products that will help your future business partners. Who knows, these people may want to join you in your primary MLM because you are being a good leader to them. If you are unsure about affiliates and how to become one, again I am here to help. Just ask.
In conclusion, remember one thing.... It's so important to give freely without selling. Only suggest resources you believe are good.

Article marketing is a cool way of having your website on the search engines. There are many who have complained that in spite of article marketing, there has been no remarkable increase in web traffic to the site. Most of us fail to realize that writing an article is not enough. You need to follow a few simple rules. When you submit an article, there is a section which is marked as about the author. This is where you tell about yourself and also post the link to your site. your market. Now this sounds like a lot and it is, but after you start

First off he uses and suggests using a blog instead of a website because they
repeatedly rate higher in the search engines then
websites do. Unless you need a website for another reason you can set up the
blog to do anything you need including having a data capture form to get people
on your list. Also you can post all your articles on your blog as the main
holding area along with submitting them to the article sites.
OK, now to the articles and submitting. Write your articles using the
right article format such as Title, Body, Keywords, and The Resource Box.
Once you are done writing your article you have to submit it to the article
submission site. To submit to the article site you have to first register
with the article site. After you register you can post your articles to
that site.
niche, if not, just post to the
sites that have categories that correspond to your article and market. Pick the
article directories that have a higher Alexa rating and page rank. You
should post to at least 5 different article submission sites and if you want to
post to more then change your article a little so the same article is not all
over the internet which the search engines will think of it as spam since it is

to use article submission software. If you want to use this software, look
for software that also helps you spin the article so you are posting

If you provide the same, regurgitated information as everyone else - how is that going to make you any different from your competition? It doesn't! So, provide your top, expert information. Don't be afraid to give your best material. By giving great information for free, people will automatically think, "Wow! If I'm getting this kind of information for free, the information that I have to pay for must be out-of-this-world. I must get it now."

Have you ever had that moment after you've signed up for a webinar where you hope and pray that the subject matter that will be covered is sufficient to give you the whole picture?
Through my years of these lessons, I have had my fair share of disappointing webinars, failed attempts at passing along outdated information, and training that turned into inglorious sales pitches, etc., etc.
So when a webinar comes along that promises to provide free article and content marketing, and then goes above and beyond that promise, obviously it's one that you remember.
That's why I'm writing this tonight.
Tonight MLM Lead System Pro (MLSP) held another free webinar on article marketing & content marketing, and once again, the guys delivered. Big Time!
Tonight's host was David Wood, who's credentials include not only being a MLSP member, but in just the last 2 months since he became a member, he's getting 600+ hits per day from unique visitors, and in just the last week alone he's been able to sponsor 5 new distributors into his primary MLM company.
David's created a blue print to get his articles placed on the first page of Google for any specific set of keywords. He's figured out a way to get his videos posted on Google search in the organic searches, and keep them there.
Not too shabby for just being in the system for only 2 months?
Anyways, what I found significant from tonights training is that David essentially gave away his entire marketing blue print.
Good Lord! Who does that?
Well, here's how I see it - first off, there is no way that anyone will be competition to David and saturate the industry with this technique. There are just WAY TOO many categories to write about. Literally! Secondly, any marketer knows that when they present a whatever to a large group, they know that there is only a small percentage of marketers who will actually go on to use that line of attack after one week. It's just a given fact.
David took his entire article marketing strategy (at this point it's only article marketing) and blasted it out to us over an hours period of time. He literally laid it all out in front of us. In fact, for those of us on the webinar, he gave away some bonuses just for being on the webinar.
Now, if you were on tonights webinar, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
If not, well, that's why I'm writing the post. To fill you in on some of the strategies that he uses.
So lets jump in shall we?
There are 4 critical steps in this process:
1. Create an Original Article and post it on your blog or MLSP backoffice. Think of this as your parent article. At the end of the article after you provide some really beneficial content, you will promote your landing page that you use for lead generation. Only do this at the end of the post.
2. Bookmark your content on social networking sites in one huge blast using a free site like Onlywire.com You will be able to automatically submit your content to 40+ social media sites at the press of a button. Pretty compelling stuff! This will only help to increase your ranking on Google.
3. Promote the article content through video sharing sites like Youtube and Viddler. Ever thought of linking your video to the article in the description of the video? HA! Neither had I. I certainly will now. Keep the video short. 3-5 minutes should be about max. If you're using a tool like Traffic Geyser, this job is only simplified.
4. Next, you want to submit your article with an article submission tool. If you were to use a tool that could save you time and energy by submitting your article to 300+ article sites, you'd do that right? (You should be nodding your head yes right now). Then within these articles, you will link them directly to your parent article that you posted on your blog.
Two points to remember: 1) Your primary article should lead your readers to your landing page. 2) All of your other articles should lead to the link for your parent article. Make sense?
Can this get any easier? keep in mind, the first few times you do this tactic, you for sure will find it difficult at first just because it's all new to you. I know that I did. Once you do it a few times and you have the motions down, it will go a lot smoother.
So get out there, write an article, and start blasting it out there. Yes, it can take time. But what does it come down to for you? The cost of money or the cost of time? Which is more important to you?

Article Marketing is really a game of give and take. The author gives a free article and then would like to receive something in return for the effort.
The resource box is the part of the article where the author is allowed to sell themselves and their company or brand. It's the place where the author gets to ask the reader for something in return for the free article they've just provided the reader with.
The resource box is usually separate from the main body of the article although some article directories include it in the main body of the article. It should consist of the following:
A description of the author and their business.
A link to the website using targeted keywords as anchor text
A plain text link to the same website
A "Call to Action". This is where the author suggests to the reader what they should do next.
There could also be additional information about any special offers available for the reader.
The author has just given the reader a well structured, informative article about a particular subject. The reader has assimilated the information and hopefully has gained some insight into the subject of the article or some benefit from it. This has been provided for free by the author and the resource box is where they ask for something in return, a form of payment if you like.
The payment could be for the reader to just take a look at the authors website to read more about the subject or to click through and, maybe, get a free report from the author or subscribe to the websites mailing list.
This needs to be easy for the reader to do, therefore a link that can be clicked on to get to the authors site is a must. Some article directories allow two or three links in the resource box. 5. When the timer goes off - I give it respect and stop what I am doing. I then go to my next task to complete whether it be an additional writing assignment or some other part of my business.
If I have some time leftover of my "work day", I will devote it to finishing the writing project I started earlier. Otherwise - I will simply continue where I left off the next day.

c) Most article directories offer a special box for your link and other details (known as the 'author's resource'), but if not then you should add it to the end of your article. Never write an article without a link back to your website. That's what gets you the free advertising.
3. Having finished writing your article, the power of writing articles and article marketing now comes into play to get you a ton of free advertising. You get that by submitting your articles to article directories. This can be done in a number of ways, the most common being:
a) Manual Submissions
You should choose a number of the top article directories, register with them and then submit your articles manually. This will take you about 5 minutes per directory. Your articles should be submitted in plain text format, so if you have written them in Microsoft Word, copy the Word text and paste it into a text editor such as Notepad. A Google search for 'article directories' will give you lists of the top directories.
b) Software Submissions
You can use software to make the submissions for you. Most of these work whereby you enter each part of your into a box provided for it: Title, Summary, Article body, Keyword list, Resource - parts of these will be in plain text and HTML, particularly the resource. You then scroll down a list of directories loaded into the software, click on those to which you want to submit, and the article submission is made automatically. You have to provide the software with your login details for each directory, where relevant (no all directories need a login), or log in to each individually.
c) Article Submission Services
You can use a paid article submission service that will submit your articles to a number of directories for a fee - either paid individually or monthly. I use all three of these methods for my submissions for maximum exposure and best results.
d) Don't worry about duplicate content when you submit the same article to loads of directories and ezines. That will take a few months to come into play and you can make up for it by writing an article each week.

I'm not asking because I want you to obsess about it. 1. Sign up for your competitor's newsletters and whatever other free goodies they may have. Be sure to use an alias -- because there is nothing more annoying than when I see that a competitor has signed up for my info with no intentions of ever doing business with me. Blah!
2. Investigate your competition and their profile over at Alexa.com. While this isn't necessarily an absolute accurate look at stats (only computers with the alexa browser toolbar installed are tracked), it does give you a gage of traffic and importance.
3. Google their name and any variations of it. Or better yet, add their name as one of your "google alerts", and you will be able to see on a daily basis what blogs, sites, etc. have picked up their content and/or have written something about them. This will give you a fantastic idea of how often they are writing articles.
4. Follow your competition on social media site Twitter. Watch what kind of content they are twittering about and how often their tweets are "retweeted". This will also give you a great idea of how often they are writing content. Consistent article production on your part and inconsistency on theirs is another way to quickly move past your competition.
Also - by using these techniques you can check on how popular your own content is and the best way to distribute it. I personally was able to see through adding an alert on my name (girlshrink) which national publications were mentioning me, and what article directories I was actually getting traffic from or republished.

Offering advice on how to make money writing articles is one of the article marketing tips that most people like me would rather not give to you! Why? Because it's a great way to make money, and the more that do it, then the less there is for the rest of us. However, I don't care too much for that since I have progressed beyond the actual writing - at least to an extent.
Writing articles is certainly a lucrative business if you can do it properly, and here are some article marketing tips on how to do it, although my real secrets, the ones that really earn the dough, are not available until you have understood and mastered the basics. You don't play Bach's fugues until you have learned your scales. Understand your pentatonics before stringing them together like Jimi Hendrix could.
OK, Article Marketing Tip #1:
#1: Write About the Title
I am amazed at the number of people that throw up a title for their article and the write about something different. A case in point: 'Using Twitter to Make Money' What does that title conjure up in your mind? Perhaps I am stupid, but to me it means how to use Twitter to make money, and not an article on what Twitter is and how to use it to make tweets, ending with; 'more on making money in the next part of this article'. I could use a word here, but it would result in this article not being published.
That word starts with B and end ends with s, with 'ollock' somewhere in the middle. Where is the next part of the article? Not attached to the first part, so who knows! I won't be there to read it. So write about your title as I hope I am doing here, or you will lose credibility and have no chance of making money from people that think you are crazy!
#2: You Don't Need a Website
Nobody needs a website to write articles and have them accepted for publication by ezines and article directories. One of my published eBooks explains how to make money using articles to advertise an affiliate product without you having a website, and shows a live example of me designing the article and then setting it up to make money with no website involved. It can be done, and I showed how. No 'the rest next time', but done there and then. Your readers will trust you when you do that, and that helps when it comes to making money.
#3: Articles can Advertise your Website
If you do have a website, however, you don't need to spend money on Google Adwords or any other medium to advertise your site. Write a couple of articles every week and watch the visitors appear in their droves. How much would it cost for a PPC advert for 1000 visits? Let's say you bid 50c - that would be $500.
I am likely not allowed to say how many visitors I get from my articles because the directories won't publish this, but it is a lot more than 1000 a day - all I do is write articles and optimize my SEO. You need traffic to make money, but you don't have to spend money to get it.
I lost my Adsense account last year through using the wrong PPC sites without knowing what I was doing, so have never used any since except one Adwords campaign that is now on hold. If anybody reading this knows how to get a new Adsense account . . . Worth my two major eBooks free.
#4: Be Believable
People will respond if they think that what you write is believable. If you write about earning $5000 a day using your methods, they will laugh and think they are being conned. If you tell them the truth, that they will earn about $100 a day or less at first and that could increase to $1000 with a lot of work, but is achievable and then you can duplicate that, then they will believe you, carry on reading and perhaps even visit your website. Be honest and truthful about what you are writing, and you will gain credibility. Credibility is worth its weight in gold, but easily lost with just one lie.
#5: Use Your Resource Profitably
If you want to make money writing articles you must master the resource. There are ways of writing a resource to almost compel reader to click on it, and that starts right from the beginning of your article, and reaches a peak at the end. Never give your reader all the information you have, and let them know that there is more available on your website - you must also persuade them it is to their advantage of course. Think about what you would need to make you make that click.
I have dozens more article marketing tips, but not enough room on the space the directories allow to give you them. There are ways to write articles that compel readers to visit the web page of your choice, and I could show you how to make money with your very first article, but that's for another time perhaps.
It's enough that you know that you can make money writing articles, and article marketing tips are not the substitute for your own ability and feeling for what you are doing when you write. Let's look at each tactic in more detail.
Tactic one is all about getting your article in front of as many eyeballs as possible. The more exposure you generate, the more people will see your article.

To be successful with article marketing, you need to be publishing articles regularly. In order to do that and get them published on lots of sites, you have to use either article distribution software or an article distribution service.
I use two article distribution services and have access to a huge blog network, and can therefore quickly get every article I write in front of a lot of editors, publishers and readers. To drive a lot of traffic with articles you need to use at least one of these services too.
Tactic two in your article marketing strategy, is to use enticing article titles that will appeal to potential readers. There is no point in getting a boat load of exposure for your articles, if no one is interested in reading them!
So how do you find out what titles and subjects appeal to the potential readers in the niche you are trying to target? Pretty easily actually, simply go to the top article directories and take a look at what titles being used by fellow authors are proving popular. I use one of the biggest article directories in particular for all of my niche and article title research. It's imperative that you research your title before you write your article to give it a better chance of proving popular based on actual data!
Once you have a list of popular article titles that are getting lots of page views, all you have to do is rewrite them in a very similar format, then write your articles around the title!
Finally to tactic three. The first two tactics are all about getting as many eyeballs as possible reading your article content. Tactic three is all about converting those readers in to visitors to your sites. How do you provide your reader with a compelling need to visit your site?
Firstly you need to make your article educational, ensure that there is content in the article that will teach the reader something. It's not just a case of getting backlinks and traffic from the main article directories. If you're going to the effort of writing an article, you may as well go the extra yard and make it as appealing as possible to other publishers.
Here are 5 tips for writing publisher friendly articles that will get a lot of reads:
1. Use of keywords
Don't go overboard with the use of keyword phrases in your articles. Fitting keyword phrases in to your content can spoil the natural flow of your article.
